New MC team is here!
Dear AIESEC in the Czech Republic, readers, viewers, world, Solar system, galaxy!
From the left: Barča (TM), Lukas (XD), Jaro (MCP), Tina (ICX), Radim ($), Peťula (PD&C) and Peťa (ER).
July 1: The whole weekend was spent by cleaning. And when we say cleaning, we really mean it! The flat was a mess. Imagine you buy a new fridge. You put it into your room, plug it in and stuff it with food. You need to vacuum clean your room from time to time, but the fridge is too heavy to move around, so you don't really clean behind it. Then, one day you forget to plug it back after vacuum cleaning... Can you imagine what will happen in a couple of months? Well, so multiply your imagination by about 5 and that's what the mess was like, more-or-less... Cool no?
By the way, the boys room is now so clean that if you were to see it now, remembering what it used to be before, you would probably feel like experiencing co-existence in parallel universes.
July 2-8: Here we go for MC planning! Barbara experiencing traveling by train for the first time! Not a train-virgin anymore... Our planning took place in Uhersky Brod, in a primary school which was empty during this summer holiday time - perfect setting for us to think about our direction for the term. Plus, we had some great and delicious food provided by Peťulas parents!
Discussing, talking, sharing, reflecting, thinking, analyzing... planning.
Our working classroom was very colorful. Primary school memories coming back...
Can you find Peťula? (Hint: Not the one with the camera by the curtain)
Mr. Baťa overseeing the freshly approved Bachelors.
July 9: Free day after the intensive planning week.
July 10: First official day at the MC office! Unlike the flat, this one was cleaned. It was strange to enter knowing that the faces you would usually see are not there any more. Empty office, clean desks (well, except for $), messages from the predecessors. No escape, it's ours now!
July 13: Another MC member awarded! Another family very happy! Another visit to a graduation ceremony! This time a new engineer was given his diploma in Brno. Yeah! I am talking about our MCP, now Ing. MCP!
Can you find Jaro? (Hint: Not the girl with long hair and white blouse on the left)
One picture is worth a thousand words. Congratulations Ing. Mydlo!
So, up to here goes our first post! Take care and keep coming back.
