IC Day 0 … let’s get it started

IC is finally here…

This year it’s supposed to be the biggest IC ever attended by 103 countries and 657 delegates. Our day started with opening plenary where all countries performed their rolecalls.

As sexual rollcalls were not allowed we unfortunately couldn’t perform our traditional Dudy so we came up with a song Vysoky jalovec. After all countries and extensions performed their rollcall you could see what an international AIESEC network. IC is the only place where all countries meet so it’s the most diverse conference in terms of nationalities which creates tremendous atmosphere.

After the opening plenary we went for the official Global Village. Fortunately, it was not outside otherwise we wouldn’t have survived in such a hot weather. The Global Village was the traditional one with a lot of food, AIESEC dances and rollcalls performed on the stage. We finished the long day with a opening ceremony which is a formal event where partners are invited and where IC was officially opened. We could see also a dance performance of Fire of Anatolya.
